The largest non-fungible token (NFT) collection, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), was the victim of hacking and theft for the third time, with the thieves taking an estimated 20 Ether (ETH), equivalent to $360,000 in NFTs. The security intrusion occurred on June 4.1, a Saturday.

‘Still Investigating’
Many hours after NFTherder’s post, BAYC’s parent company, Yuga Labs, responded with the following tweet: “Our Discord servers were momentarily abused today. The group instantly recognized it and dealt with it. NFTs valued at about 200 ETH appear to have been affected. Email us at discord@yugalabs.io if you were impacted while we are still looking into it.
